Breath functions as an entropy-regulating interface between system states
This seminar is guided by Malcolm Ramsay-St Claire in an offering of his research and paper on Quantum Neural Synchrony & Quantum Machine Language, Cognitive States, Coherence & Decoherence. In this semainr breath functions as a biological control parameter - modulating neural oscillations, attention, and emotional regulation. It acts as an interface between autonomic and voluntary systems, enabling dynamic entropy regulation. In computational terms, this resembles adaptive learning rate modulation or feedback control in AI systems.
Breath entrains neural synchrony, stabilizing cognitive states - analogous to coherence optimization in deep networks. If such regulatory mechanisms define conscious stability, then future AI systems may require analogous control layers. The implication is architectural: consciousness is not a property but a regulation regime. Designing such regimes raises ethical stakes - who controls the “breath” of synthetic minds?
